(2023) starring Sean Patrick Flanery &#038; Jordan Belfi \/ Z-View"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2024\/z021324zview_nefarious.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"754\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Nefarious <\/strong><\/em>(2023)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Director:\u00a0 <strong>Chuck Konzelman, Cary Solomon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Screenplay: <strong>Chuck Konzelman, Cary Solomon <\/strong>based on <em>A Nefarious Plot<\/em> by<strong> Steve Deace<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stars: <strong>Sean Patrick Flanery, Jordan Belfi, Jordan Belfi, Mark De Alessandro <\/strong>and <strong>Glenn Beck<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline:\u00a0 <em>Speak of the devil.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Plot\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Edward Wayne Brady (Flanery), an infamous serial killer, is on death row, soon to be executed.\u00a0 Brady claims that he&#8217;s possessed by a demon (maybe the devil himself).\u00a0 In an effort to determine Brady&#8217;s sanity, Dr. Alan Fischer met with the killer and was ready to declare Brady insane.\u00a0 After the interview, but before Dr. Fischer could render his official determination, he committed suicide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. James Martin (Belfi) is brought in to the prison to interview and determine if Brady is sane enough to be executed.\u00a0 Dr. Martin goes in thinking that Brady is acting possessed in an effort to avoid the electric chair.\u00a0 As the interview progresses, Brady tells Dr. Martin things he should have no way of knowing.\u00a0 Then strange things begin to occur.\u00a0 Brady tells Dr. Martin that before the day is over Martin will kill three people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Is Brady insane or possessed.\u00a0 Time will tell&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"font-size: inherit; color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font);\">Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Nefarious<\/em> was such a pleasant surprise.\u00a0 It is so good and yet I haven&#8217;t heard much buzz about it.<\/p>\n<p>Sean Patrick Flanery gives a performance throughout the film that is simply first rate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As the interview progresses it&#8217;s interesting to see Dr. Martin&#8217;s opinion and confidence change.\u00a0 He comes in thinking that Brady is trying to pull a scam to save his life.\u00a0 Then he&#8217;s not so sure.\u00a0 One of the best exchanges between the two (and there are many) occurs when Dr. Martin says, &#8220;I didn&#8217;t know I was in a fight.&#8221;
