Friday&#8230; Almost kill each other on purpose&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Plot&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jack Walsh (De Niro) is a bounty hunter hired to bring in Jonathan Mardukas (Grodin).\u00a0 Mardukas shouldn&#8217;t be a problem.\u00a0 He&#8217;s just an accountant who embezzled his employer.\u00a0 The gig should be easy&#8230; a midnight run.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then Walsh learns that Mardukas&#8217; employer is a Mafia boss.\u00a0 The amount Mardukas stole was $15 million dollars.\u00a0 Walsh also discovers the FBI is looking to capture Walsh.\u00a0 To make matters worse, another bounty hunter is also after the reward.\u00a0 With the mob, the FBI and a rival bond recovery agent on his trail, this will be anything but a midnight run!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before Charles Grodin was cast, Cher, Robin Williams, Albert Brooks, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Steve Martin and Bruce Willis were considered.\u00a0 The film would have been very different if any of them were cast.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Midnight Run<\/em> would make a great double feature with <em>Planes, Trains and Automobiles<\/em>.\u00a0 They are both about two guys who don&#8217;t like each other at first who in working together to get somewhere on a tight timeline develop a friendship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b style=\"font-size: inherit;
