The Overview:\u00a0 Beware of Spoilers\u2026<\/p>\n

Spenser is hired to find who is blackmailing Meade Alexander.\u00a0 Meade is a congressman running for the Senate. He’s happily married. Meade’s a law and order guy.\u00a0 The most important thing in his life is he’s\u00a0 a Christian.\u00a0 Meade’s as All-American as apple pie and baseball.\u00a0 Meade’s also being blackmailed.\u00a0 But not because of anything he’s done.<\/p>\n

Ronni, Meade’s wife caused the problem.\u00a0 There’s video of her having sex with college boys.\u00a0 Lots of video.\u00a0 And she’s into it.<\/p>\n

Meade wants the problem to go away.\u00a0 If the video gets out, his campaign is finished.\u00a0 Spenser agrees to take the job, not so much for Meade, but because of Ronni.\u00a0 As Spenser digs deeper he discovers so heavy hitters in the Boston underworld are involved.<\/p>\n
