James Earl Jones died today.\u00a0 Mr. Jones was 93.<\/p>\n
James Earl Jones attended the University of Michigan.\u00a0 Initially he was a pre-med major, but in his junior year Mr. Jones switched to drama.\u00a0 He as a stage carpenter, stage manager and actor at the\u00a0Ramsdell Theatre in Manistee, Michigan. \u00a0He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in drama.\u00a0 After graduation, James Earl Jones attended Ranger School. He attained the rank of first lieutenant before his discharge.<\/p>\n
Once out of the service, Mr. Jones moved to New York to pursue a career as an actor.
