You know me, so using just their choices here are my <strong>TOP TEN<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10.\u00a0 \u201cA boy&#8217;s best friend is his mother.\u201d \u2014 Psycho (1960) <\/strong>\u00a0Combine that line and<strong> Anthony Perkins&#8217;<\/strong> stare and you&#8217;ve got <strong>Creeepy<\/strong> with a<strong> capital C<\/strong>.<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cI ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.\u201d\u2014 The Silence of the Lambs (1991)<\/strong>\u00a0 Follow that with <strong>Anthony Hopkins<\/strong> making a sucking sound and you&#8217;ll get goosebumps.<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8220;I realized what was living behind that boy&#8217;s eyes was purely and simply&#8230;evil.\u201d \u2014 Halloween (1978) <\/strong>That line hints at the scares to come.<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cI see dead people.\u201d \u2014 The Sixth Sense (1999)<\/strong>\u00a0 The catch phrase of that years<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cIt&#8217;s people! Soylent Green is made out of people! They&#8217;re making our food out of people&#8230;\u201d \u2014Soylent Green (1973)<\/strong>\u00a0 Not just creepy, but shocking to the 14 year old seeing the movie for the first time.<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>I can&#8217;t lie to you about your chances, but&#8230;you have my sympathies\u201d \u2014 Alien (1979) <\/strong>How can THAT line not creep you out?<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cThere&#8217;s nothing to be afraid of. They were right. It&#8217;s painless. It&#8217;s good. Come. Sleep.\u201d \u2014 Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)<\/strong>\u00a0 It was creepy to hear when I was twenty watching the remake in a theater, but even creepier when I was a little kid up way late watching the original presented on&#8221;Sammy Terry&#8217;s Nightmare Theater&#8221; on a little black and white tv!<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cI want you to make a choice&#8230; Let the game begin.\u201d \u2014 Saw (2004)\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Yeah, and Ms. Streep thought she had a tough choice.<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cThey\u2019re heeeeere!\u201d \u2014 Poltergeist (1982) <\/strong>Hearing that makes the small hair on the back of your neck stand on end.<br \/>\n_____<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cHave you checked the children?\u201d \u2014 When a Stranger Calls (1979)<\/strong> That line creeped me out years before I had kids.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lists are subjective, but how did my favorite creepy line,<strong> &#8220;They&#8217;re coming to get you, Barbara!&#8221;<\/strong> not make the cut?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Site map Hollywood.com recently posted their choices for the 25 Creepiest Movie Lines in Cinema.
