The Plot…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Joe Turner (Redford) works for the CIA… as a research analyst.\u00a0 He’s part of a small team.\u00a0 Their cover is the American Literary Historical Society in New York City.\u00a0 They read and analyze books and magazines from around the world.\u00a0 They’re looking for hidden messages, ideas for operations… anything useful. Typed reports are sent to CIA headquarters.<\/p>\n

The job is very mundane.\u00a0 Usually the biggest excitement is “what’s for lunch” and whose turn is it to get it?\u00a0 As it happens, today Joe is up.\u00a0 He heads out the backdoor since it’s raining and runs over to the deli.<\/p>\n

Joe returns with the sandwiches to find everyone in the office murdered.\u00a0 Joe is shocked.\u00a0 No one in the office was a field agent.\u00a0 Who would want them dead?\u00a0 And why?<\/p>\n

Joe quickly leaves.\u00a0 He finds a phone booth and reports the hit to CIA headquarters.\u00a0 Joe is given instructions that will bring him in.\u00a0 When he shows up at the arranged location, Joe is almost gunned down.<\/p>\n

On the run, unsure of who he can trust, Joe must figure out why he’s marked for murder.\u00a0 Even if he does, what chance does a research analyst have against trained killers?<\/p>\n
