<\/strong>story by <strong>Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, Seth Grahame-Smith<\/strong> based on characters by <strong>Michael McDowell, Larry Wilson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stars: <strong>Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O&#8217;Hara, Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, Santiago Cabrera, Burn Gorman\u00a0 <\/strong>and <strong>Danny DeVito<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline: <em>The ghost with the most is back.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Plot&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thirtysix years ago Betelgeuse, a vulgar, prankster ghost attempted to marry a teenager named Lydia Deetz.\u00a0 Although unsuccessful, Betelgeuse hasn&#8217;t given up.\u00a0 Confined to the underworld, he still has hopes to escape.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lydia and her mother struggle to have a healthy relationship.\u00a0 Lydia and her daughter, Astrid, don&#8217;t get along much better.\u00a0 Astrid doesn&#8217;t believe her mom can see ghosts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When Lydia, her mother and Astrid return to Winter River for a funeral things take a turn.\u00a0 Astrid accidentally frees Betelgeuse.\u00a0 Now he can finally force marriage to Lydia.\u00a0 Meanwhile Betelgeuse&#8217;s first wife has &#8220;pulled herself together&#8221; and has plans for Betelgeuse (and anyone who gets in her way).\u00a0 And don&#8217;t get me started on Astrid&#8217;s problems.<\/p>\n<p>The juice is loose indeed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While not as fun as the original, <em>Beetlejuice Beetlejuice<\/em> is still a fun ride.\u00a0 The film is best when Keaton is on screen cutting up.\u00a0 Jenna Ortega is an excellent choice to play Winona Ryder&#8217;s daughter.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite scene was the <em>MacArthur Park<\/em> wedding scene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;
