UCF<\/strong> presents The Ultimate Fighter<\/strong> finale tonight on SPIKE<\/strong>.\u00a0 Let’s look at the fights and my predictions…<\/p>\n

Darrill “The Boss” Schoonover vs James “The Hammer” McSweeney.<\/strong> I hope Schoonover<\/strong> wins.\u00a0 He was calm and modest while on the show. McSweeney<\/strong> was the opposite.\u00a0 McSweeney<\/strong> is a tough guy and had he not been showboating and got caught, he might have made the finals.\u00a0 My prediction: Schoonover.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marcus “Big Baby” Jones vs Matt Mitrione.<\/strong> This is a tough one to call.\u00a0 Jones<\/strong> takes his opponents to the ground and muscles them.\u00a0 Mitrione<\/strong> packs a hammer punch [and can take a shot to the head as well].\u00a0 Will Mitrione <\/strong>be able to land one on “Big Baby” <\/strong>and make it lights out, or will “Big Baby”<\/strong> take Mitrione<\/strong> to the mat and have him ready to tap before lands?\u00a0 Both are kind of flakey when it comes to fighting.\u00a0 Hmmmm…. I know, go with the guy with a nickname… or not…\u00a0 My prediction: Mitrione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Frank “The Answer” Edgar vs Matt Veach.<\/strong> Both have great records, so this time we go with the guy that has the nick.\u00a0 My prediction: Edgar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kimbo Slice vs Huston “The Assassin” Alexander. <\/strong> People will tune in to watch Kimbo<\/strong>.\u00a0 Ya gotta love Kimbo<\/strong>.\u00a0 I’d hate to see Kimbo <\/strong>lose another fight.\u00a0 Kimbo<\/strong> is actually good for the sport [and I didn’t believe that a year ago].\u00a0 My prediction: Alexander <\/strong>[and not just because he has a nickname and Kimbo<\/strong> doesn’t].<\/p>\n

Matt “The Hammer” Hamill vs Jon “Bones” Jones.<\/strong> Although “Bones”<\/strong> is undefeated, I think that is about to change.\u00a0 My prediction: Hamill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roy “Big Country” Nelson vs Brendan “The Hybrid” Schaub.<\/strong> After seeing Schaub<\/strong> get out from Big Baby’s<\/strong> full mount, I believe he will be able to do the same from Big Country’s big belly<\/strong>.\u00a0 As my nephew, Bartledoo Joey<\/strong> said after watching Big Country<\/strong> lose in a pay-per-view: “Big Country<\/strong> was yelling, ‘Beer me” before the ref stopped the bout!”\u00a0 My prediction: Schaub will have Big Country calling for beers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s hope my predictions will be better tonight than in the last UFC<\/strong> event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
