Sergeant Hansbach is an excellent soldier dedicated to Colonel Valois.\u00a0 Hansbach takes an instant dislike to Chuka.\u00a0 The feeling is mutual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Colonel Valois is concerned with talk of an Arapaho uprising.\u00a0 His last patrol never returned.\u00a0 Chuka sees that Valois soldiers aren&#8217;t up to an attack and tells Valois they need to leave.\u00a0 Colonel Valois is insulted and refuses.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s too late.\u00a0 The Arapaho are on the move.\u00a0 It looks to be a massacre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Chuka<\/em> was one of my favorite westerns when I saw it a child.\u00a0 It still is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rod Taylor, Ernest Borgnine and James Whitmore shine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The fight between Chuka and Sergeant Hansbach is a perfect cap to their escalating dislike for each other.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reveal of why Hansbach is so dedicated to Colonel Valois was shocking to me as a kid.
