The Plot…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Recovered from wounds that should have left him dead, John Wick (Reeves) is ready to take his vengeance on the High Table.\u00a0 He plans to “kill them all.”\u00a0 Very quickly Wick learns that his actions have consequences.\u00a0 If not on him, then on those few that he cares for.<\/p>\n

Wick then decides to use a High Table tradition against them.\u00a0 Wick will challenge the Marquis (Skarsg\u00e5rd) to a duel.\u00a0 But to do this, John Wick must be a part of one of the crime families.\u00a0 Reinstatement will come at a bloody cost.\u00a0 But once in and if he wins the duel, John knows he will be free of all obligations to the High Table.<\/p>\n

The Marquis learns of Wick’s plan and sets in motion all of the worldly resources he controls.\u00a0 Wick must be killed at all costs.<\/p>\n

Let the fun begin.<\/p>\n

Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lance Reddick died a week before John Wick 4<\/em> was released.\u00a0 Although he filmed some scenes for Ballerina<\/em>, John Wick 4<\/em> contains Lance Riddick’s final completed film role.\u00a0 The movie is dedicated to his memory.<\/p>\n

As in previous chapters, Keanu Reeves did most of his own stunts.<\/p>\n

Each new John Wick chapter expands his world.\u00a0 Chapter 4 is no exception.\u00a0 The new characters keep the movie fun.\u00a0 Favorites this time out include Tracker (Shamier Anderson) and Killa (Scott Adkins).\u00a0 It was nice to see roles for Donnie Yen, Clancy Brown and Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd.\u00a0 It was also cool to see Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick and of course, Ian McShane back.\u00a0 Sven Marquardt is memorable in his role as Klaus.<\/p>\n

If you’re a fan of John Wick’s previous outings, you should greatly enjoy Chapter 4.\u00a0 I wouldn’t mind a Chapter 5, if they can come up with a new twist.\u00a0 I also wouldn’t mind seeing Tracker get a film of his own.\u00a0 More tales from the World of John Wick would also be welcomed.\u00a0 Then again, if this is the last Keanu Reeves outing as John Wick, I’m okay with that too.\u00a0 It’s been a truly fun ride.<\/p>\n
