{"id":38999,"date":"2025-05-26T14:31:42","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T18:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=38999"},"modified":"2025-05-26T14:32:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T18:32:10","slug":"untold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=38999","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Untold: Malice at the Palace&#8221; (2021) \/ Z-View"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2025\/z052625zview_maliceatthepalace.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"701\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Untold: Malice at the Palace <\/strong><\/em>(2021)<\/p>\n<p>Director:\u00a0 <strong>Floyd Russ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline: None.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Plot&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NBA&#8217;s Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers have always had a bitter rivalry.\u00a0 On November 19, 2004, the two teams met in a game that was never finished.\u00a0 The previous year the Pistons knocked the Pacers out of the playoffs.\u00a0 This was one of the first games of the season.\u00a0 Tensions were high.<\/p>\n<p>The Pacers were on track to an easy win.\u00a0 With less than a minute left Ron Artest of the Pacers fouled Ben Wallace of the Pistons.\u00a0 Both were known for their tempers.\u00a0 Wallace started to go after Artest.\u00a0 The players were separated.\u00a0 Artest went over to the scoring table and laid down.\u00a0 Fans were going crazy and one threw a beer from the stands.\u00a0 It Artest in the chest.\u00a0 Artest went up into the stands after the fan he THOUGHT had thrown it.\u00a0 Other fans went after Artest.\u00a0 More Pacer players went to Artest&#8217;s aide.<\/p>\n<p>Then all hell broke loose.<\/p>\n<p>This is that story.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thoughts\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ron Artest was a hot-head.\u00a0 Despite being the player who went into the stands, he comes off more sympathetic than you may want to believe.\u00a0 It turns out that Artest suffered from depression and anxiety issues.\u00a0 He was working through those problems at the time.\u00a0 This isn&#8217;t to excuse him from going into the stands, but does explain his behavior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you were of age at the the time of the incident, even if you weren&#8217;t a basketball fan, you couldn&#8217;t avoid coverage of the incident.\u00a0 This documentary does an excellent job of setting up the events leading to and the punishments handed down after.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit; color: initial;\"><em><strong>Untold: Malice at the Palace (2021) <\/strong><\/em>rates 5 of 5 stars<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/logo\/zview_a.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"100\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2025\/z052625zview_maliceatthepalace2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"273\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Untold: Malice at the Palace (2021) Director:\u00a0 Floyd Russ Tagline: None.
