The Plot…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The year is 2084.\u00a0 Mars is now a colonized planet.\u00a0 The leader of the planet is Vilos Cohaagen.\u00a0 Cohaagen is a dictatorial ruler who came to power thanks to his management of the mining of turbinium ore.\u00a0 Cohaagen rules with an iron hand.<\/p>\n

Douglas Quaid is a construction worker on Earth.\u00a0 Quaid continues to have recurring nightmares about being on Mars.\u00a0 In his dreams Quaid is involved with a woman and on a mysterious mission.\u00a0 Quaid realizes that a trip to Mars is out of the question.\u00a0 So he decides to check out Rekall.<\/p>\n

Rekall uses the latest technology to implant memories that are no different than one would actually have experienced.\u00a0 Quaid decides to purchase a memory of Mars.\u00a0 Because the memories are implanted a customer can be or do anything.\u00a0 Quaid decides to be a secret agent sent on a mission to save Mars.\u00a0 Once the memory is implanted, he will believe that everything he remembers is true.<\/p>\n

During the implant stage, Quaid begins struggling.\u00a0 The Rekall techs see that Quaid has had a procedure to repress memories.\u00a0 Concerned that unlocking these memories would put them at odds with Cohaagen, the Rekall workers shut down the process.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the way home Quaid is attacked.\u00a0 Quaid is surprised to discover he is able to kill his attackers.\u00a0 Now he’s confused.\u00a0 Is he a former spy?\u00a0 Is it just a memory?\u00a0 If he is a spy, and his cover is blown, who can he trust?\u00a0 What was his mission?<\/p>\n

A trip to Mars will be required to discover the truth.\u00a0 But can Quaid ever really be sure?<\/p>\n
