McIntyre, Brad Leland, Sheb Wooley, Jonathan Kasdan, Todd Allen, Bill Thurman, Meg Kasdan, Dick Durock, Gene Hartline, Jake Kasdan <\/strong>and <strong>John Cleese<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline: <em>A dangerous place, in a lawless time&#8230; &#8216;Til four friends risked all to make things right.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Plot&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Four strangers, Emmett an ex-con, Paden a former outlaw, Jake a slow-witted fast gunslinger and Mal a drifter meet on the road to Silverado.\u00a0 Along the way they will have adventures and become friends.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Silverado, Paden learns that one of his crime partners, Cobb is Sheriff.\u00a0 Cobb has a sweet deal.\u00a0 Not only is Cobb the Sheriff, but he also owns the bar and runs the town for Mr. McKendrick.\u00a0 McKendrick is owner of the biggest ranch in the area.\u00a0 Nothing happens in Silverado without McKendrick&#8217;s okay.\u00a0 McKendrick also holds a grudge against Emmett, Jake and Mal.\u00a0 He wants them dead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paden is going to have to make a choice.\u00a0 Cobb has offered him a sweet deal.\u00a0 All he has to do is nothing.\u00a0 Just standby and watch his friends be gunned down.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Silverado<\/em> was nominated for two 1986 <em>Academy Awards<\/em>&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nominee for <em>Best Music, Original Score<\/em> &#8211; <strong>Bruce Broughton<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nominee for <em>Best Sound<\/em> &#8211; <strong>Donald O. Mitchell, Rick Kline, Kevin O&#8217;Connell, David M.
