I see dead people.
\nMake a joke.\u00a0 Go ahead, people do.
\nFuck ’em.
\nI see dead people.
\nNot all of them.\u00a0 My life would be too crowded.\u00a0 Just some.\u00a0 The ones who need to be seen.
\nThe ones who need me to see them.<\/p>\n

The Overview:\u00a0 Beware of Spoilers\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Monk Addison is ex-military.\u00a0 Ex-Private Military Contractor.\u00a0 A shooter.\u00a0 If a high stakes target needed to be done, the government wanted Monk on the trigger.\u00a0 But the killing took a toll.<\/p>\n

Monk left the work and the world behind.\u00a0 He decided to travel the world to find redemption.\u00a0 And maybe save his soul.<\/p>\n

What Monk learned instead was that he had a gift.\u00a0 He can see and communicate with the spirits of recently murdered people.\u00a0 Communicate doesn’t really convey what happens.\u00a0 Monk can see the recently dead.<\/p>\n

Yeah.<\/p>\n

Once the murdered spirit (ghost?) appears to Monk, there’s a process.\u00a0 Blood of the victim and holy water are combined.\u00a0 The mixture is used as ink for Monk’s new tat… of the victim’s face.\u00a0 His body is covered with faces.\u00a0 Of the dead.\u00a0 Of murdered souls who have come (been sent?) to Monk.\u00a0 As the new body art is finished, Monk experiences (see, hears, feels) everything the victim felt when he\/she was being murdered.<\/p>\n

The process takes a toll.\u00a0 But once Monk recovers, he usually knows who the murderer was.\u00a0 And then Monk goes to work.\u00a0 And a sniper shot would be too kind.\u00a0 No, Monk has other skills he learned as a soldier and bounty hunter.\u00a0 He puts them to use to meet the killer.\u00a0 \u00a0Then justice will be served.<\/p>\n
