Two days ago I posted<\/strong><\/a> about Frank Mir<\/strong> saying he wanted to break Brock Lesnar’s neck <\/strong>and he hoped that Brock<\/strong> would be the first to die in the octagon<\/strong>.\u00a0 I predicted that a Mir apology<\/strong> would be coming soon.\u00a0 I was right.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I posted<\/strong><\/a> that Mir<\/strong> had issued an apology<\/strong>.\u00a0 I predicted that all would be forgiven until the time that Mir<\/strong> and Lesnar<\/strong> fought for a third time.\u00a0 I was wrong.<\/p>\n

When Shane Carwin<\/strong> was asked<\/strong> about Mir’s comments<\/strong> said the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cI did not see the interview so I can’t comment on what he [Mir] might have said.\u00a0 I can tell you that ANY athlete wishing death upon a competitor is either a terrible human being or mentally unfit to fight…”<\/strong> <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Considering that Mir<\/strong> is Carwin’s opponent<\/strong> next month at UFC 111<\/strong><\/a>, Carwin<\/strong> didn’t lay it on too thick.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
