Johnson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stars: <strong>Thomas Jane, Dean Jagger, Dominique Tipper, Nick Moran, Patrick Bergin, David Sakurai <\/strong>and <strong>John Malkovich.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline:\u00a0<i> London is About to Get a Taste of Texas<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Plot\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Texas Ranger Alex Tyree is a throwback.\u00a0 Tyree is a tough, no-nonsense Texas Ranger with no quit in him.\u00a0 When Tyree and his partner track a bank robber named Declan McBride into the desert, Tyree&#8217;s partner is killed and Tyree is badly wounded.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It turns out that McBride is a terrorist with plans to detonate a bomb in London.\u00a0 British Intelligence wants Tyree on the case.\u00a0 Tyree wants McBride caught.\u00a0 Sounds like a match made in heaven.\u00a0 Far from it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tyree has a way of doing things that doesn&#8217;t align with Agent Smith, his British liaison.\u00a0 The two are going to have to find a way to work together before McBride detonates his bombs.<\/p>\n<p>Mount up.\u00a0 We&#8217;re burning daylight.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: inherit; color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font);\">Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>One Ranger<\/em> echoes Clint Eastwood in <em>Coogan&#8217;s Bluff<\/em> and Dennis Weaver in <em>McCloud<\/em>.\u00a0 In both a cowboy lawman is sent to New York City on a case.\u00a0 Substitute a Texas Ranger and London and you have the outline for <em>One Ranger<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although Thomas Jane&#8217;s character comes off as a caricature, Jane plays it straight which makes for the best part of the movie.\u00a0 Still, I was expecting more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>One Ranger <\/strong><\/em>(2023) rates 2 of 5 stars.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/logo\/zview_d.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"100\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2025\/z120825zview_1ranger2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One Ranger (2023) Director: Jesse V.
