The Plot…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

At the end of 28 Years Later<\/em> Spike was saved from a zombie horde by Jimmy Crystal and his followers.\u00a0 Spike feels lucky until it becomes clear Jimmy Crystal is psycho Satan-worshipper.\u00a0 Sir Lord<\/em> Jimmy Crystal, as he calls himself, feels he is part of Satan’s plan in this zombie-plagued world.\u00a0 To that end, the terrorize, mutilate and kill any people they come across… unless the are able to become one of Sir Lord<\/em> Crystal’s followers.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dr. Ian Kelson has made progress with his work to find a cure for the rage virus.\u00a0 If successful, it could mean a chance to free the world of the rage virus’ effects.<\/p>\n

When Jimmy Crystal spots Dr. Ian in the distance, Sir Lord decides he and his followers will pay the good doctor a visit.<\/p>\n

Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final scenes of 28 Years Later<\/em> had a comic bent that seemed out of place.\u00a0 I was worried that 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple<\/em> would have the same feel.\u00a0 I shouldn’t have been concerned.\u00a0 We learn that Jimmy Crystal and his followers are nothing to laugh about.<\/p>\n

While I enjoyed 28 Years Later<\/em> and 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple<\/em>, both fell short of 28 Days Later<\/em> (which I consider a classic).\u00a0 With that said, I think both 28 Years Later<\/em> and Bone Temple<\/em> work better when viewed as a whole.<\/p>\n

There’s a scene at the end of Bone Temple<\/em> that could set up the next movie in the franchise.\u00a0 I hope that that film gets made.<\/p>\n
