At HeroesCon 2026, I commissioned Mark Stegbauer<\/a> for two sketch cards: Sly Stallone as Marion Cobretti from Cobra<\/em> and Stallone as Stanley Kowalski from Lords of Flatbush<\/em>.\u00a0 You probably think that you’re looking at the Cobra commission.<\/p>\n

If so, you’re wrong!<\/p>\n

When I went to Mark’s table, he presented me with my two sketch card commissions.\u00a0 Mark then gifted me with the much bigger Cobra drawing above!\u00a0 What an amazing piece of art!\u00a0 When I offered to buy it, Mark said you don’t pay for gifts.\u00a0 He also refused when I tried to tip him.\u00a0 Mark was adamant that he enjoyed doing the drawing and it was a gift.<\/p>\n

Since Mark often does drawings and donates a good portion of his commissions to charity, I said I wanted to give him money to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.\u00a0 Mark agreed to that.<\/p>\n

I will post the two sketch card commissions Mark did for me in the near future.<\/p>\n
