Here’s a pencil sketch of the The Hulk <\/strong>for a Marvel<\/strong> trading card set.\u00a0 It was drawn by Andrew Robinson<\/strong> and appeared [in much smaller form] in Rough Stuff #4<\/strong> [April 2007<\/strong>]. Yep, the same Andrew Robinson<\/strong> who drew The Punisher<\/strong><\/a> and Nick Fury<\/strong><\/a> cards.\u00a0 Here’s what Andrew<\/strong> said about the piece:<\/p>\n

“I think this is the only time [for publication] that I’ve drawn the Hulk, and man, did I have a good time.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Looking at the drawing, I can’t help but smiling.\u00a0 The funny thing about the Hulk<\/strong> is that I’ve never really cared for the character.\u00a0 Outside of his “guest appearances”<\/strong> to fight Ben Grim<\/strong> or Spider-Man<\/strong>, or the X-Men<\/strong>, I probably have read less than a handful of Hulk<\/strong> comics.\u00a0 The best of those being Hulk<\/strong> drawn by Jim Starlin<\/strong> and Alex Nino<\/strong> in the Hulk’s<\/strong> own magazine.\u00a0 But, although I’m not a fan of Hulk<\/strong> stories, I am a fan of Hulk <\/strong>drawings.\u00a0 Perhaps it’s because there are so many ways that artists can draw him.\u00a0 Andrew Robinson’s<\/strong> take is one of my favorites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
