{"id":4411,"date":"2010-05-08T06:35:02","date_gmt":"2010-05-08T10:35:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=4411"},"modified":"2010-05-08T06:35:02","modified_gmt":"2010-05-08T10:35:02","slug":"ufc-113-predictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=4411","title":{"rendered":"UFC 113 Predictions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2010\/z050810ufc113_pred.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"424\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>UFC 113<\/strong> is tonight on pay-per-view, so that means it is time for<strong> my predictions<\/strong>.\u00a0 Here we go&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Marcus <em>&#8220;The Irish Hand Grenade&#8221;<\/em> Davis vs. Jonathan <em>&#8220;The Road Warrior&#8221;<\/em> Goulet<br \/>\n<\/strong>Both fighters come in with similar records.\u00a0<strong> Goulet<\/strong> hasn&#8217;t fought in a year so that may be enough of an edge for <strong>Davis<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: The Irish Hand Grenade explodes with a win over The Road Warrior.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Tom <em>&#8220;El Dirte&#8221;<\/em> Lawlor vs. Joe <em>&#8220;Filthy&#8221;<\/em> Doerksen<br \/>\n<\/strong>I don&#8217;t know too much about either of these guys.\u00a0 So I&#8217;m going with a scientific choice.\u00a0 <strong>Filthy<\/strong> is worse than <strong>dirty<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: <\/strong><strong> Joe <em>Filthy<\/em> Doerksen for the win.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Patrick <em>&#8220;The Predator<\/em>&#8221; Cote vs. Alan <em>&#8220;The Talent&#8221;<\/em> Belcher<br \/>\n<\/strong>Both fighters come in with <strong>14-5<\/strong> records.<strong> Belcher<\/strong> has been more active and is bigger [6&#8217;2&#8243; to 5&#8217;11&#8221;].\u00a0 I&#8217;m a <strong>Cote<\/strong> fan though.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: The Predator takes the victory.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Kimbo Slice vs. Matt Mitrione<br \/>\n<\/strong>Odds makers are saying this is a virtual coin toss.\u00a0 Most folks predict that both fighters will stand and thump.\u00a0 Some think that this gives <strong>Kimbo<\/strong> the edge,\u00a0 I&#8217;m not so sure.\u00a0 <strong>Kimbo <\/strong>was <strong>KO&#8217;d <\/strong>by little known <strong>Seth  Petruzelli <\/strong>and I think that <strong>Mitrione<\/strong> hits harder.\u00a0 If the fight goes to the ground, I think that<strong> Mitrione<\/strong> still has the advantage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: Mitrione will win and it won&#8217;t go the distance.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Sam <em>&#8220;Hands of Stone<\/em>&#8221; Stout vs. Jeremy <em>&#8220;Lil Heathen&#8221;<\/em> Stephens<br \/>\nStout<\/strong> has won <strong>Fight of the Night<\/strong> in four of his five <strong>UFC<\/strong> bouts.\u00a0 He not only has <strong>&#8220;Hands of Stone&#8221;<\/strong> but a chine of granite.\u00a0 This should be a tough match.\u00a0 <strong>Stephens<\/strong> has the slightly better record <strong>[17-5<\/strong> to <strong>16-6<\/strong>] with everything else being equal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: Stout wins a hard-fought victory.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Josh <em>&#8220;Kos&#8221;<\/em> Koscheck vs. Paul &#8220;Semtex&#8221; Daley<br \/>\nKoscheck<\/strong> is the better wrestler.\u00a0 <strong>Daley<\/strong> is the better banger.\u00a0 Basically it comes down to who will impose his will and dictate the fight.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: Koscheck will earn a decision victory.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Lyoto<em> &#8220;The Dragon&#8221; <\/em>Machida vs. <\/strong><strong>Mauricio<\/strong> <em>&#8220;<strong>Shogun&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><strong> <\/strong><strong>Rua<br \/>\n<\/strong>The rematch for the title.\u00a0 Both guys are tough and talented.\u00a0 Machida is undefeated and the champ.\u00a0 He won the first time they fought and that should give him a slight edge in this match up.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction: Machida retains the title via decision.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UFC 113 is tonight on pay-per-view, so that means it is time for my predictions.\u00a0 Here we go&#8230;
