UFC 115<\/strong> is on pay-per-view tonight.\u00a0 There’s really only one fight I’m that excited about.\u00a0 It’s the main event<\/strong> between Chuck “Iceman”<\/em> Liddell <\/strong>and Rich “Ace”<\/em> Franklin<\/strong>.\u00a0 But I’m sure I’ll tune in to the free prelims<\/strong> on SPIKE<\/strong> and be interested in the outcomes of the other fights.\u00a0 So without further prelude, here are my picks…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Matt “Handsome” Wiman vs Mac Danzig.<\/strong> With Danzig’s 20-7 record<\/strong> [vs the handsome one’s 11-5<\/strong>], Danzig<\/strong> is the slight favorite.\u00a0
\nPrediction: Danzig scores the win.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tyson Griffin [14-2] vs Evan Dunham [10-0]<\/strong>.\u00a0 I’m a Tyson Griffin<\/strong> fan.\u00a0 He brings it to each fight and lets it all hang out.\u00a0 Dunahm<\/strong> is going to have about a 4 inch height\u00a0\t\tadvantage, but my guess is that it will be of little benefit.
\nPrediction: Griffin gets the victory.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Carlos “Natural Born Killer”<\/em> Condit vs Rory “The Water Boy”<\/em> MacDonald. <\/strong> This should be a good fight.
\nPrediction: McDonald keeps his undefeated streak alive in a hard fought battle.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ben Rothwell vs \t\t\t\t\t\t\tGilbert “The Hurricane”<\/em> Yvel.<\/strong> Big Ben<\/strong> is going to have a significant weight advantage to go along with the better record [30-7<\/strong> vs Yvel’s 36-14-1<\/strong>].\u00a0
\nPrediction: Rothwell gets the nod.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Paulo Thiago vs Martin “The Hitman”<\/em> Kampmann.<\/strong> Thiago<\/strong> is 13-1<\/strong> and Kampmann<\/strong> is 16-3<\/strong>.\u00a0 Both of these guys are good fighters.\u00a0 Vegas odds<\/strong> give Thiago<\/strong> the edge.\u00a0
\nPrediction: Kampmann in an upset.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mirko Cro Cop vs \t\t\t\t\t\t\tPat “HD”<\/em> Barry.<\/strong> There was a time when Cro Cop<\/strong> was one of the most feared fighters in the world.\u00a0 Those days have passed.\u00a0 Cro Cop<\/strong> will have a height [although not a weight advantage] over Barry<\/strong>.\u00a0 It’s also unknown how Barry<\/strong> will react stepping into the cage with a legend.\u00a0
\nPrediction: Barry scores the win.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Chuck “The Iceman”<\/em> Liddell vs Rich “Ace”<\/em> Franklin.<\/strong> A few years ago this fight would have been every fan’s dream.\u00a0 Now both fighters need the win to stay in the running to be a contender.\u00a0 Liddell<\/strong> looks to be in his\u00a0 best shape in YEARS.\u00a0 Unfortunately he can’t train his chin.\u00a0 So the question is, will Liddell<\/strong> land or take a KO<\/strong> punch? \u00a0
