If you’re a reader of this blog, there’s a real good chance that you’re a fan of Sons of Anarchy<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.\u00a0 I’ve been talking up the show<\/strong><\/a> since the first ads for it<\/strong><\/a> started appearing almost two years ago.\u00a0 It was an interesting take on an outlaw motorcycle club<\/strong> created by Kurt Sutter<\/strong> who I knew from his work on The Shield<\/strong><\/em> [another favorite series of mine].\u00a0 The show has gained a solid following is in line to win some awards.<\/p>\n

Kurt Sutter<\/strong> should be on top of the world, but he’s not.\u00a0 In fact, he’s more than a bit upset.\u00a0 Chuck Zito<\/strong><\/a> has filed a lawsuit with the claim that the Sons of Anarchy<\/strong><\/em> was based on a pitch that he gave for a show based on an outlaw motorcycle gang<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Normally Zito is a pretty intimidating guy<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 He’s an outlaw biker<\/strong>, has done time, worked as a bodyguard and even knocked out Jean Claude Van Damme<\/strong> [okay, maybe that’s not so tough], but still.
