When I was a kid I used to love the Thursday<\/strong> news paper.\u00a0 That’s because on Thursday<\/strong> there would always be a ton of movie ads<\/strong> for the films that were playing or opening on Friday<\/strong>.\u00a0 Of course this was in the pre-historic days before the internet and even entertainment shows that take us on location and behind-the-scenes.\u00a0 Quite often the first time you’d learn anything about a film was from the movie ad<\/strong> — usually a shot of the poster and tag line.\u00a0 Many times the posters were better than the films they advertised… but we’ll save that for another post.<\/p>\n

Today I want to point you in the direction of artist Sean Hartter<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Hartter<\/strong> is the mastermind behind vintage looking posters such as Bruce Lee<\/strong> playing Neo<\/strong> in The Matrix<\/strong><\/em>; Clint Eastwood<\/strong> as Wolverine<\/strong>; Gary Busey<\/strong> as Bizarro Superman<\/strong>; in a Nightmare on Elm Street <\/strong><\/em>and many, many more.\u00a0 You can see them here<\/a> <\/strong>and my guess is, you’ll wish some of them were for real movies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
