Just a little over five years ago<\/strong> I posted about two great crime noir novels<\/strong><\/span><\/a> I’d just read.\u00a0 One was Drive by James Sallis<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 [The other was The Wheelman by Duane Swierczynski<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.]\u00a0 Drive<\/strong> was the story of a get-a-way driver<\/strong> brought in on a heist<\/strong> that was a set-up<\/strong> from the start.\u00a0 It went on to become a major motion picture<\/strong> that fans and critics loved.\u00a0 This coming April<\/strong>, James Sallis and the Driver return in the sequel, Driven<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n Six years later – Phoenix.\u00a0 Out of nowhere someone wants Driver dead. I’m looking forward to the novel and would love to see the team that made the movie return for the sequel.
