\nThoughts<\/span>: Maia<\/strong> is the BJJ expert<\/strong> and Weidman<\/strong> is known for his superior grappling<\/strong>.\u00a0 Weidman<\/strong> could be at a disadvantage since he took the fight on two weeks notice<\/strong> and had to drop over 30 pounds<\/strong>.\u00a0 Still , Weidman<\/strong> is favored<\/strong>.
\nPrediction<\/span>: Weidman<\/strong> scores the win.<\/p>\nChael Sonnen (27-11-1) vs Michael Bisping (23-3-0)<\/strong>
\nThoughts<\/span>: This is the fight that I’m most looking to seeing.\u00a0 Sonnen<\/strong> totally dominated Anderson Silva<\/strong> when they fought.\u00a0 Who else do you see doing that?\u00a0 The winner<\/strong> of this fight is supposed to get a shot at Silva<\/strong> and the title<\/strong>.\u00a0 I’d love to see a Sonnen \/ Silva rematch<\/strong>.\u00a0 Sonnen<\/strong> is going in as a HUGE FAVORITE<\/strong> against Bisping<\/strong>.\u00a0 Although I think that Bisping<\/strong> is under-rated<\/strong>, and everyone is picking Sonnen<\/strong>, I’ve got a crazy feeling<\/em> that we may be in for a HUGE UPSET<\/strong>.
\nPrediction<\/span>: Bisping<\/strong> in one of the biggest upsets<\/strong> in UFC history<\/strong>.<\/p>\nRashad Evans (21-1-1) vs. Phil Davis (9-0)<\/strong>
\nThoughts<\/span>: Evans<\/strong> and Davis<\/strong> are both excellent wrestlers<\/strong>, with perhaps Davis<\/strong> getting the edge.\u00a0 Evans<\/strong> has the better stand-up<\/strong>.\u00a0 The winner<\/strong> of this bout should get a shot at Jon “Bones”<\/em> Jones<\/strong> and the title<\/strong>.
