\nPrediction<\/span>: Weidman<\/strong> scores the win.
\nResult<\/span>: Weidman<\/strong> defeated Maia<\/strong> via Split Decision<\/strong> (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).\u00a0 Making me 1-0<\/strong> for the night.<\/p>\n
\nPrediction<\/span>: Bisping<\/strong> in one of the biggest upsets<\/strong> in UFC history<\/strong>.
\nResult<\/span>: Sonnen<\/strong> defeated Bisping<\/strong> via Unanimous Decision<\/strong> (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) making me 1-1<\/strong> for the night.<\/p>\n
Prediction<\/span>: Evans<\/strong> scores the win.
\nResult<\/span>: Evans<\/strong> defeated Davis<\/strong> by Unanimous Decision<\/strong> (50-45,50-45,50-45) making me 2-1<\/strong> for the night.<\/p>\n
\n* Weidman<\/strong> took the fight on 11 days notice<\/strong> and had to lose over 30 pounds<\/strong> to make weight.\u00a0 So I wasn’t shocked when Weidman<\/strong> began to gas out<\/strong> late in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.\u00a0 I was surprised that Maia<\/strong> gassed as well.\u00a0 Conditioning could have been the difference in the fight and it wasn’t.
\n* Hats off to Weidman<\/strong> for taking the fight on short notice and winning!
\n* I thought Bisping won the fight.\u00a0 By my scoring he won the 1st and 2nd rounds and lost the 3rd.\u00a0 I wasn’t alone in thinking that.\u00a0 Seems that even Sonnen felt it could have gone that way<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 Unfortunately, the judges felt differently.
\n* Rashad Evans<\/strong> dominated Phil Davis<\/strong> in every round and every aspect of the fight.\u00a0 Hats off to Sugar Rashad<\/strong>.\u00a0 His next fight is going to be for the title against Jon “Bones”<\/em> Jones<\/strong> and should be a great battle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
