{"id":6955,"date":"2012-07-03T18:49:12","date_gmt":"2012-07-03T22:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=6955"},"modified":"2012-07-03T18:49:12","modified_gmt":"2012-07-03T22:49:12","slug":"andy-griffith-r-i-p","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=6955","title":{"rendered":"Andy Griffith &#8211; R.I.P."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2012\/z070312andy_griffith.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Andy Griffith<\/strong> passed away this morning at the age of <strong>86<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">Most of us know <strong>Mr. Griffith<\/strong> from his role as <strong>Andy Taylor<\/strong>, the sheriff of the fictional town of <strong>Mayberry<\/strong>.\u00a0 The classic series was of course, <strong><em>&#8220;The Andy Griffith Show,&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> one of only three shows [along with <em><strong>&#8220;I Love Lucy&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>&#8220;Seinfeld&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>]\u00a0 to ever end their run while on top.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">I can&#8217;t tell you how many I hours I spent watching <em><strong>&#8220;The Andy Griffith Show&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> &#8230; my guess is that you can&#8217;t either.\u00a0 (Well, if you can, tell me, how many hours did I spend watching it?)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">What was always refreshing to hear was that <strong>Andy Griffith<\/strong> was just as nice in real life as he was on tv.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsfromme.com\/2012\/07\/03\/andy-griffith-r-i-p\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Mark Evanier wrote a great tribute<\/strong><\/span><\/a> which confirmed that <strong>Andy Griffith<\/strong> was just as caring and smart and nice as <strong>Andy Taylor<\/strong>.\u00a0 Seems fitting, doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">Our thoughts and prayers go out to <strong>Andy Griffith&#8217;s<\/strong> family, friends and fans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andy Griffith passed away this morning at the age of 86.
