<\/em><\/strong> <\/strong>If you enjoy excellent crime fiction<\/strong> and\/or great comics<\/strong>, then you’re probably well aware of Darwyn Cooke’s<\/strong> adaptations of Richard Stark’s Parker<\/strong> novels.\u00a0 So far there have been three – Parker: The Hunter<\/strong><\/span><\/a>; The Outfit<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and The Score<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Originally, the plan was for Cooke<\/strong> to adapt four of the Parker<\/strong> novels, but Cooke’s<\/strong> graphic adaptations have been so well received, and Cooke’s<\/strong> having such a blast, there will now be at least five!\u00a0 Next up is The<\/strong><\/span> <\/strong>Handle<\/strong><\/span> which Cooke<\/strong> says he choose because “it’s an incredibly visual book. It concerns a casino on an island.”\u00a0 The release date is scheduled for 2013<\/strong> and I’d put my order in now if I could!<\/p>\n

Darwyn Cooke<\/strong> recently spoke about his take on Parker<\/strong> at ComicCon<\/strong> and CBR.com was there<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
