Roger Ebert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2013\/z040413roger_ebert.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"336\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Roger Ebert<\/strong>, arguably the most popular <strong>movie reviewer<\/strong> of our time, and unarguably the <strong>first film critic<\/strong> to win a <strong>Pulitzer prize,<\/strong> passed away today after a long battle with cancer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">Just two days ago <strong>Mr. Ebert<\/strong> had posted that he was taking a <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Leave of Presence<\/strong><\/span> from his role as <strong>film critic<\/strong> for the <strong>Chicago Sun-Times<\/strong>. \u00a0While <strong>Mr. Ebert<\/strong> was stepping away due to his health and treatments for the cancer that had returned, he was far from retiring. \u00a0<strong>Mr. Ebert<\/strong> spoke about more <strong>movie reviews<\/strong> and writing he planned to do, a redesigned website, and digital presence as well a <strong>Roger Ebert<\/strong> video game or app.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">So it was a surprise to learn that today <strong>Roger Ebert<\/strong> passed on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">Of course it wouldn&#8217;t have surprised him. \u00a0As <strong>Mr. Ebert<\/strong> wrote in his piece, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon.com\/2011\/09\/15\/roger_ebert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>I Do Not Fear Death<\/strong><\/span><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">I know it is coming, and I do not fear it, because I believe there is nothing on the other side of death to fear&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-family: arial; text-align: justify;\">R.I.P.
