The Movie: Iron Sky<\/em><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The Pitch:<\/strong>\u00a0“Moon Nazis attack the Earth!”<\/p>\n The Tagline:<\/strong>\u00a0 “We Come in Peace”<\/p>\n The Story:<\/strong>\u00a0In 1945, Nazis loyal to Hitler escaped to the dark side of the moon. \u00a0Unknown to those on Earth, the Nazis survived and flourished. \u00a0Flash forward to 2018. \u00a0The Nazis are now ready to attack the planet.<\/p>\n The Screenplay:<\/strong>\u00a0Michael Kalesniko from a story by\u00a0Timo Vuorensola The Director:\u00a0<\/strong>Timo Vuorensola<\/p>\n The Cast:<\/strong>\u00a0Julia Dietz, Christopher Kirby, Gotz Otto .<\/p>\n The Good:<\/strong>\u00a0This teaser<\/strong><\/span><\/a> from 2007 (at that point the movie was just an idea). \u00a0Now that you’ve seen that, you’ve seen the best of what Iron Sky<\/em> <\/strong>has to offer. \u00a0Ok, some of the special effects visuals are cool.<\/p>\n The Bad:<\/strong>\u00a0The movie. \u00a0Way too many attempts at humor that fail. \u00a0Yeah, we get it. The Nazis are shocked that a black man is an astronaut. \u00a0Hardee-har-har. \u00a0Yeah, it’s real funny in 2018 that Sarah Palin<\/strong> is President. \u00a0 What? Another joke about the black guy? Ho,ho, ho! \u00a0 The Ugly:<\/strong>\u00a0How my expectations for Iron Sky<\/em><\/strong> were dashed. \u00a0After seeing the teaser in 2007, I thought the movie might be cool. \u00a0Then in 2012, I saw this trailer<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and pretty much knew it would be bad.<\/p>\n
