\"\"<\/a>I’m looking forward to this weekend. Big John Beatty<\/strong> and I will be motoring down to Tampa<\/strong> for <\/span>Tim Gordon’s Tampa Comic Book and Toy Convention<\/strong><\/span>. Big Beatty<\/strong> is a guest but before I get to that…<\/span><\/span>Saturday<\/strong> night Beatty<\/strong> and I are going to attend a little get together put on by Randy Martin<\/strong>. Randy<\/strong> is an avid art collector<\/strong> whose theme<\/strong> happens to be Edward Scissorshands<\/strong>. How cool is that? John Higashi<\/strong> will be there with his Star Wars theme<\/strong> [which includes are from just about anyone who is ANYONE. How many collections do you know that feature Drew Struzan<\/strong> originals [note the “s” as in many]? John Dell<\/strong> and other artists will be attending as well. It’s going to be a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

The next day is Tampa Con<\/strong>. John<\/strong> is a guest [which makes me a guest of a guest, I suppose]. Other real guests include MARTY NODELL<\/strong> [creator of the original GREEN LANTERN], ETHAN VAN SCIVER<\/strong> [X-Men], ALEX SAVIUK<\/strong> [Spider-Man], JIM FERN<\/strong> [Scion, Wolverine], AUSTIN JANOWSKY<\/strong> [Superman], DICK KULPA<\/strong> [artist and publisher of CRACKED], MARK<\/strong> and STEPHANIE HEIKE<\/strong> and others.<\/p>\n
