In honor of the 40th anniversary<\/strong> of its release,\u00a0<\/strong> Warner Bros.<\/strong> released a special 2 disc edition Blu-ray<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Enter<\/strong>\u00a0the<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Dragon.\u00a0<\/strong>

CBR.com had a post that is no longer available.\u00a0 Enter the Dragon’s<\/strong><\/em> producers\u00a0Fred Weintraub <\/b>and Fred Heller<\/b>, cinematographer Gil Hubbs <\/b>and co-star Bob Wall<\/b> were interviewed.\u00a0 In it, Fred Heller<\/strong> talked about how comic books<\/strong> influenced the look and feel of Enter the Dragon<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n

Heller:<\/b>\u00a0Comic books played a big part in\u00a0Enter the Dragon<\/i>. When we first started thinking about the look of the film, there was a comic strip called\u00a0Terry and the Pirates<\/i>, and that became sort of the genesis of the whole look of the film. It was about a Dragon Lady and Chinese pirates, and it was a wonderful moment in time about adventure. But it has a wonderful, brilliant color scheme of golds and blues and reds, and if you think about\u00a0Enter the Dragon<\/i>, that\u2019s what we did. And that was very, very conscious. It just felt like it would be very right for the film.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
