Many of you are going to let out a groan or even stop reading when you move to my next sentence; but please read on.<\/p>\n

The cult classic film<\/strong> that was Brandon Lee’s<\/strong> last starring role, The Crow<\/strong><\/em>, is gearing up for a remake.<\/p>\n

I know. \u00a0I know.<\/p>\n

I agree. \u00a0There is no need to remake or reboot The Crow<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0Heck, even James O’Barr<\/strong> felt the same way…<\/p>\n

I\u00a0\u00a0was 110% against it. \u00a0There was no point or need for a reboot. \u00a0In my mind, you could throw a $100 million at it, put Johnny Depp in it and had Ridley Scott direct and it wouldn’t top what Alex Proyas and Brandon Lee did.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But after talking with director, Javier Gutierrez O’Barr’s feelings changed and he came on board<\/strong><\/a>. \u00a0Principal photography starts in October.<\/p>\n

The original Crow<\/strong> mini-series was published by Caliber Comics<\/strong> in 1989. \u00a0I loved it. \u00a0The Crow<\/strong><\/em> movie was released in 1994 and I liked it a lot.<\/p>\n

Since the release of the first Crow<\/strong> mini-series by O’Barr<\/strong> there have been many attempts to bring back the character or to pass the Crow<\/strong> mantle on to others. \u00a0I’ve given each a chance but none has the power of the original. \u00a0I have to wonder can lightning in a bottle be caught once again?<\/p>\n
