A great story that I\u2019m enjoying the hell out of adapting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Based on the influential novels by\u00a0<strong>Richard Stark, AKA, Donald Westlake<\/strong>, Parker is a coldly calculating master criminal, one with a very rigid code. The IDW adaptations by\u00a0<strong>Darwyn Cooke<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0<em id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1374340412779_2241\">The Hunter<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Outfit<\/em>\u00a0have received multiple\u00a0<strong>Eisner\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1374340412779_2240\">Harvey\u00a0<\/strong>awards.\u00a0<em>The Score<\/em>, released last year, is nominated for an Eisner Award at this week\u2019s San Diego Comic-Con International.\u00a0<em id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1374340412779_2200\">Slayground<\/em>\u00a0will be the fourth\u00a0<em>Parker<\/em>\u00a0adaptation in the popular and much lauded series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darwyn Cooke<\/strong>\u2019s distinct style has made him a premier writer and artist in the comic book industry. A former animator, Cooke entered mainstream comics in 2000 with his critical hit\u00a0<em>Batman: Ego\u00a0<\/em>for DC Comics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Donald Westlake<\/strong>, writing as\u00a0<strong>Richard Stark<\/strong>, was the acclaimed author of the\u00a0<em>Parker<\/em>\u00a0series.
