The Wedding of Charles and Diana (1981)\u00a0 <\/strong>Although my wife got up at the break of dawn to tune in. I couldn\u2019t be bothered.\u00a0 I don\u2019t see what the attraction is to<strong> royal weddings<\/strong>, but for some there is one.<strong>\u00a0 (I\u2019m 0 for 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>24. \u201cDo You Believe in Miracles?\u201d (1980)\u00a0<\/strong> I\u2019m not a hockey fan, but I do enjoy the<strong> Olympics<\/strong>.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t see it live, but it was everywhere in the days\/years that followed.\u00a0<strong> (1 for 2).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>23. The End of<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>The Fugitive<\/b><\/em><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><strong>(1967)<\/strong> I was 8 years old and saw this one when it first aired.\u00a0 I watched a lot of tv shows with my mom and<strong><em> The Fugitive<\/em><\/strong> was one that we always watched.<strong> (2 for 3)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>22. J.R. Gets Shot on<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Dallas<\/b><\/em><b>\u00a0<\/b><strong>(1980)<\/strong> I\u2019ve never watched a single episode of<strong><em> Dallas<\/em> <\/strong>and didn\u2019t even tune in to see who killed ole<strong> JR.\u00a0 (2 for 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>21. Lucy Goes to the Candy Factory (1952) <\/strong>Although I was not born when this episode first aired, I\u2019ve seen it many, many times.\u00a0 Then again, who hasn\u2019t?<strong>\u00a0 (3 for 5)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>20. The \u201cCheckers\u201d Speech (1952) <\/strong>This aired the same year that<strong> Lucy <\/strong>went to the candy factory.\u00a0 I\u2019ve seen it, but the \u201cCheckers\u201d speech wasn\u2019t as funny as<strong> Lucy <\/strong>on the candy assembly line.<strong> (4 for 6)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>19. Sammy Davis Jr. Visits<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>All in the Family<\/b><\/em><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><strong>(1972)<\/strong><strong><em> All in the Family<\/em> <\/strong>was required viewing in our house (we only had one television at the time), but we all loved the show!<strong> (5 for 7)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>18. Johnny Carson\u2019s Final<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Tonight Show<\/b><\/em><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><strong>(1992) <\/strong>By<strong> 1992 <\/strong>I had stopped watching late night television (<strong>Carson, Letterman,<\/strong> etc.), but tuned in for<strong> Johnny\u2019s<\/strong> swan song (<strong>Bette Midler<\/strong> anyone?).<strong>\u00a0 (6 for 8)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>17. The Rescue of Baby Jessica (1987)\u00a0 <\/strong>If you\u2019re a news junkie, you were watching.\u00a0 I am and was.<strong> (7 for 9)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>16. Muhammad Ali Lights the Olympic Torch (1996) <\/strong>I\u2019m an<strong> Olympics<\/strong> fan and even bigger<strong> Muhammad Ali <\/strong>fan.\u00a0 I saw it.\u00a0<strong> (8 for 10)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>15.<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>M*A*S*H:<\/b><\/em><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><strong>\u201cGoodbye, Farewell, and Amen\u201d (1983)\u00a0<\/strong> I liked<strong><em> MASH<\/em> <\/strong>okay early on, but had stopped watching.\u00a0 I did turn in for the final episode though.<strong>\u00a0 (9 for 11)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>14. Election Night (2000) <\/strong>Like all news junkies, I was tuned in.<strong>\u00a0 (10 for 12)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>13. Salute at the Mexico City Olympic Games (1968)<\/strong> I didn\u2019t see it live. (Was it even shown live?)\u00a0 But I have seen it many times.<strong> (11 for 13)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>12. Elvis Presley on<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Ed Sullivan<\/b><\/em><b>\u00a0<\/b><strong>(1956) <\/strong>Who hasn\u2019t seen this?\u00a0 Even if you weren\u2019t born when it first aired (I wasn\u2019t), you\u2019ve seen it, right?<strong>\u00a0 (12 for 14)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>11<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>The Beatles on<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Ed Sullivan<\/b><\/em><b>\u00a0<\/b><strong>(1964)<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>My mom let me stay up to see this live!\u00a0 It was a big deal because I was 5 or 6 at the time.<strong>\u00a0 (13 for 15)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>10. The O.J. Simpson Chase (1994)<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>We were on a family vacation in<strong> Indiana.\u00a0 <\/strong>The entire family was glued to the tv watching live.\u00a0<strong> (14 for 16)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>9.<\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Roots<\/b><\/em><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><strong>(1977) <\/strong>Although I didn\u2019t watch<strong><em> Roots<\/em> <\/strong>when it aired in<strong> 1977<\/strong> (I was a senior in high school and didn\u2019t watch much tv), I have since seen it.<strong>\u00a0 (15 of 17)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>8. The Kennedy\/Nixon Debate (1960)<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>I was too young to have watched live, but since I majored in Speech Education (speech and debate), you can be sure that I\u2019ve seen it.<strong>\u00a0 (16 of 18)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>7. Richard Nixon Resigns (1974)<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> Yep.\u00a0 I tuned in with the family to see history in the making.\u00a0<strong> (17 of 19)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>6. The Fall of the Berlin Wall (1989)\u00a0<\/strong> If you watched nightly news you couldn\u2019t have missed it.<strong> (18 of 20)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5. Walter Cronkite Denounces the Vietnam War (1968) <\/strong>I was 9 and remember what a big deal this was.\u00a0 I was surprised, at the time, when my grandpa who was a<strong> WWII<\/strong> vet say he was against the war.<strong>\u00a0 (19 of 21)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Walter Cronkite Announces the Death of JFK (1963) <\/strong>I was watching with my grandparents who had taken me to<strong> Florida<\/strong> on vacation.\u00a0 I was just 5.\u00a0<strong> (20 of 22)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Hurricane Katrina (2005) <\/strong>The reports just got worse and worse as the days drug on.\u00a0 It had to seem like the apocalypse to those there.\u00a0 It was terrible enough for those of us watching.<strong>\u00a0 (21 of 23)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. The September 11th Attacks (2001) <\/strong>Who alive (other than children) didn\u2019t watch?<strong> (22 of 24)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1.
