The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Gabriel Byrne<\/b> and Brian Dennehy<\/b> have joined stars Ethan Hawke<\/b> and Laurence Fishburne<\/b> for the remake of John Carpenter’s “Assault on Precinct 13.” <\/b><\/p>\n
The script has been changed slightly. It’s still set in a police precinct building<\/b> that’s about to be shut down. Only now it’s New Year’s Eve<\/b>, and a mobster<\/b> (Fishburne<\/b>) has been temporarily incarcerated there. As a rogue gang<\/b> tries to free him, a cop (Hawke<\/b>) must take command of a few policemen<\/b> and prisoners<\/b> to defend the station.
