Three years in prison, a hot young babe and opportunity make <strong>Digger&#8217;s<\/strong> decision easy. \u00a0<strong>Angel<\/strong>\u00a0offers <strong>Digger<\/strong> a plan that will leave the two of them with the cash and a smooth getaway together. \u00a0Sure, <strong>Digger<\/strong> will have to kill <strong>Red<\/strong> and maybe a few members of the crew, but isn&#8217;t she and $800 k worth it? \u00a0<strong>Digger<\/strong>\u00a0is in deep. \u00a0He needs the deal and the money it will bring. \u00a0He&#8217;s enjoying <strong>Angel<\/strong>, but knows she can&#8217;t be trusted&#8230; no one can be trusted. \u00a0The cards are dealt, so he might as well play out the hand and see who wins.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Chris Mills<\/strong> and <strong>Rick Burchett<\/strong> have created a crime comic that is a treat to read. \u00a0<b>Gravedigger: The Scavengers<\/b> is like a love letter to fans of <strong>Lee Marvin, Richard Stark Parker<\/strong> novels, <strong>crime movies, crime novels<\/strong> and <strong>crime comics<\/strong>. \u00a0 This is one of the best one-shot comics of any genre that I&#8217;ve ever read.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Chris Mills<\/strong> has created a unique character in \u00a0<strong>Gravedigger<\/strong>. \u00a0<strong>Digger&#8217;s<\/strong> not a good guy. \u00a0He\u00a0knows and accepts this. \u00a0<strong>Mills<\/strong> has a feel for all the characters, a love of the <strong>crime genre<\/strong> and a way with words. \u00a0I hope someday to read a <strong>Gravedigger<\/strong> novel or book of short stories by <strong>Mills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Rick Burchett<\/strong> is the perfect artist for this comic. \u00a0His art compliments <strong>Mill&#8217;s<\/strong> prose. \u00a0<strong>Burchett<\/strong>\u00a0is truly amazing in that he knows where to focus the readers eyes for the most impact.
