Robinson<\/strong> in a big screen scifi film?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s do it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tagline<\/span>:<\/strong>\u00a0 &#8220;What is the secret of Soylent Green?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Overview<\/span>:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0<strong>*** Beware \u2013 \u00a0spoilers are found below ***<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The year is 2022. \u00a0The world is overpopulated and (thanks to climate change and pollution) without resources to house or feed most of the population. \u00a0The divide between the haves and have-nots has never been worse. \u00a0Most of the poor survive on rations provided by the <strong>Soylent<\/strong> corporation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Charlton Heston<\/strong> plays a cop assigned the murder of a wealthy man with connections to the <strong>Soylent<\/strong> corporation and important politicians. \u00a0When <strong>Heston<\/strong> refuses to stop his investigation he becomes marked for death.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Good<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state of the world without food, water, shelter and resources for any but the wealthiest is well done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Leigh Taylor-Young<\/strong> as Shirl. \u00a0<strong>Chuck Conners<\/strong> vs <strong>Charlton Heston<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Edward G, Robinson<\/strong> in his final role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scene of <strong>Robinson<\/strong> and <strong>Heston<\/strong> enjoying a real meal of food <strong>Heston<\/strong> had confiscated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Heston<\/strong> going to save<strong> Robinson<\/strong> and becoming mesmerized at the video playing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The last line of the movie is a classic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bad<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state of the world.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The cops are crooked&#8230; including <strong>Heston<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">How much people like <strong>Soylent Green<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The movie has a bit of a 1970&#8217;s futuristic vibe to it, but overall still holds up well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Ugly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When your best choice is to check out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 4 out of 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2014\/z041714zview_soylentgreen_photo.png\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pitch:\u00a0\u201dHey, what about Charlton Heston and Edward G.
