“Plan 9 From Outer Space” Alt Poster by Sara Deck!

Ed Wood’s Plan 9 From Outer Space is so bad it’s good to watch for unintentional laughs. I’ll bet Ed Wood would have loved to have had a poster as nice as this one by Sara Deck!

The poster and teaser trailer for Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is here!
Deal me in.
Some things are meant to stay buried.
#LeeCroninsTheMummy only in theaters April 17, 2026.
Hot off the record-setting resurrection of EVIL DEAD RISE, writer/director Lee Cronin turns to one of the most iconic horror stories of all time with an audacious and twisted retelling: LEE CRONIN’S THE MUMMY.
The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace — eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.
The film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, with Veronica Falcón. The film is written and directed by Cronin, and produced by James Wan, Jason Blum and John Keville. The executive producers are Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Macdara Kelleher and Lee Cronin.
Cronin is supported behind the camera by a team of sterling film artisans, including director of photography Dave Garbett, production designer Nick Bassett, editor Bryan Shaw, costume designer Joanna Eatwell, music by Stephen McKeon and casting by Terri Taylor and Sarah Domeier Lindo.
New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Present, A Wicked/Good Production, A Lee Cronin Film: LEE CRONIN’S THE MUMMY. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, only in theaters and IMAX in North America on April 17, 2026, and internationally beginning 15 April 2026.

Frederick Cooper has created an awesome alt poster for Interview with the Vampire. It will be available as a limited edition print.
“So you want me to tell you the story of my life?” – Louis

I love Mat Peg’s art. Peg gives Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (one of my all-time favorite movies) a new poster.
Brilliant.
Here we have three posters and a trailer for They Will Kill You directed by Kirill Sokolov, starring Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. This looks like crazy fun.
Deal me in!
From New Line Cinema and Nocturna comes THEY WILL KILL YOU. The film unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.
THEY WILL KILL YOU stars Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette.
Directed by Kirill Sokolov and written by Sokolov & Alex Litvak, the film is produced by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Dan Kagan, and executive produced by Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, Carl Hampe, Litvak and Sokolov.
Behind the camera, Sokolov is joined by director of photography Isaac Bauman, production designer Jeremy Reed, editor Luke Doolan, costume designer Neil McClean and visual effects supervisor Marc Smith. The composer is Carlos Rafael Rivera, the music supervisor is Andrea von Foerster and the casting director is Richard Delia.
New Line Cinema and Nocturna present THEY WILL KILL YOU, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, only in theaters in North America on March 27, 2026, and internationally beginning on 25 March 2026.

When I was a kid I loved the classic Universal Horror Monsters. I still do. I think Gary Martin must as well. Look at his wonderful wolfman drawing. How could he not?

This alt Frankenstein poster was created by Sahin Düzgün, a graphic designer and poster artist from Berlin, Germany. Sahin is also a movie enthusiast with great taste.
Here is what Sahin had to say about his design: From the lab’s shadows to the silver screen — a design honoring one of cinema’s most iconic creations.
Dr. Frankenstein: Look! It’s moving. It’s alive. It’s alive… IT’S ALIVE!

Hellboy by Ito. It’s not a traditional looking Hellboy, but I like it. Hope you do as well.

Osiris (2025)
Director: William Kaufman
Screenplay: William Kaufman, Paul Reichelt
Stars: Max Martini, Linda Hamilton, Brianna Hildebrand, LaMonica Garrett, Michael Irby, Linds Edwards, Jaren Mitchell and Tyler Galpin.
Tagline: None.
The Plot…
One night in the middle of an intense fire fight, a US Special Forces squad led by Sergeant Kelly, is suddenly transported away. Kelly and his team awaken aboard an alien craft. As they come to grips with what occurred, they see skinned corpses and strange weapons all around.
As the soldiers gather their weapons and scavange others, aliens attack. The creatures are huge, armored, eyeless beings with sharp teeth, claws and energy weapons with shields. Kelly leads his soldiers as they retreat. Suddenly Ravi, a Russian soldier appears to direct the team to a safe location.
Ravi explains that she has survived by hiding throughout the ship. The aliens collect humans for food… but she has a plan to kill them all as well as their ability to communicate with their home planet. If they can live long enough to pull it off.
Thoughts (beware of spoilers)…
Osiri draws inspiration from Aliens, Predator and even Planet of the Apes. Sadly, it falls far short of all of them. (And the Planet of the Apes nod, made me groan.)
Osiris (2025) rates 2 of 5 stars.

“Everybody Be Cool” – a worthy alt poster for the very under-rated From Dusk Till Dawn by Rich Davies. You can see more of Davies’ art here.

This cool Sinners tribute poster was created by Nuno Sarnadas. Sardanas is a professional artist and movie lover based in Switzerland.
Nuno Sarnadas has more art on display at his webpage.
“You keep dancing with the devil… one day he’s gonna follow you home.” – Jedidiah

I’m a huge fan of the Universal Horror Movie Monsters. When I was a kid, the wolfman was my favorite. Truth be told, I love this Wolfman alt poster by Chris Koehler more than the movie!

“You’re Dead and Out of this World” by Mike Fitzgerald is available as a limited edition print. What a great tribute to What We Do In the Shadows!

Uncontained (2025)
Director: Morley Nelson
Screenplay: Morley Nelson
Stars: Morley Nelson, Peter O’Meara, Brett Zimmerman.
Tagline: None.
The Plot…
When a zombie-like apocalypse began, most people sought shelter from the spread of the virus. Now, several years later, even the most remote havens are in danger.
Dan, a former soldier, lives in the wilderness. He is capable and feels safer on his own, never staying in one place for long. Then Dan comes across a remote home. He discovers two children, a boy and his sister living there. There mother ventured out and never returned. Dan knows the children cannot survive on their own.
Reluctantly, Dan becomes their caregiver unaware that danger is closing in.
Thoughts (beware of spoilers)…
Morley Nelson, a former police officer, wrote, produced, directed and played the lead in Uncontained.
Don’t go in expecting a typical low-budget zombie gore fest. Uncontained is more of a character study with an unexpected twist. I give Nelson props for having the guts to make a slower placed zombie flick.
I’ll be interested to see if Morley Nelson continues to write, direct and star in his own productions or if he’ll get an opportunity in Hollywood.
Uncontained (2025) rates 3 of 5 stars.
