This week we have Sly from Get Carter by Tom Hodges. I discovered Tom’s art through his DA site. I saw that Tom was going to be drawing live on UStream so I commissioned several sketches which will be posted in the coming weeks. Tom still draws regularly on UStream and it’s always a blast watching him sketch and interacting with the crowd.
It’s hard to believe that the 007 franchise is now 50 years old and still going strong. “Skyfall”, the next Bond movie is due for release later this year. Daniel Craig will return as Bond, James Bond.
Odds are you, like me, are a fan of the James Bond movies. If that’s the case, then you’ll probably want to check out the official “Skyfall” site which has gone live!
Lance Sawyer makes his first appearance here with his sketch of Sly as Barney Ross from “The Expendables.” I’d been a fan of Lance’s art for a while. Recently I had a chance to purchase a few sketches from him and I could not be happier in how they turned out!

I like this new still of Sylvester Stallone from “Bullet to the Head” much better than the previously released axe-fight photo. “Bullet to the Head” is set for release on April 13, 2012, so hopefully we see a trailer soon.
Mike Torrance aka The Krayola Kidd returns with a clever over-sized card that he gifted me. I can compliment Mike enough on the creativity that went into making it, Everything from the fonts to the cast to the fact that it’s “The Night the Reindeer Died 2” emphasis on the 2. I saw the original GI Joe and thought it was okay. This trailer for the sequel looks like it will be a lot more fun. Of course, how could it not be with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Bruce Willis on board?
