Nico Di Mattia is an illustrator, sculptor and toy maker. He created the Rusty Balboa piece above (and the pencil art below). Rusty Balboa is just one of the many pop culture pieces that include Rusty Sarah Connor, Rusty Ripley, Rusty Leon, Rusty Wick, Rusty Corleone and Rusty Eastwood just to name six. Jake Kontou created this officially licensed screen print for First Blood in collaboration with StudioCanal, to celebrate the 41st Anniversary of Sly Stallone’s 1982 classic. There are two versions and each print comes numbered and signed by Jake Kontou.
