“Your friend just had the most expensive funeral in history.”
John Cordero created this cool alt minimalist Cliffhanger poster and even added the quote with his post of it. THAT is a true Stallone fan. You can see more of Cordero’s art here.

I hope you like Liam Proniewicz’s alt Pulp Fiction poster as much as I do. You can see more of Proniewicz’s art here.

G.R. David created this al poster for Terminator 2: Judgement Day starring Sly Stallone. Let’s let David explain…
What if Sylvester Stallone had been the Terminator? Actually, he was! That happened in an alternative universe in one of the best scenes from Schwarzenegger’s movie “Last Action Hero” (one of the most underrated action movie of all time). In this movie there are a lot of funny Easter Eggs and cameos, and the Blockbuster Video Store scene in particular is the funniest by far.
I did many years ago a poster photomontage of the display that appears in that scene. Now, I’ve drawn the poster. It must be stated that it is not a replica of that display; I clearly made some changes (a different Stallone’s face adding sunglasses and just his surname at the top of the poster).

Dave Merrell created this sweet alt Pulp Fiction poster. Merrell is a freelance artist based in Manchester, England. If you’d like to see more of Dave Merrell’s art, you can at his site. You can also find him on Facebook and PosterSpy.
Bruce Campbell teamed with Eduardo Risso to create SGT. ROCK VS the ARMY OF THE DEAD. Here’s the lowdown…
Berlin, 1944. The Nazis are besieged on all fronts by the Allied forces. Defeat is inevitable. But Hitler and his team of evil scientists attempt a last-ditch effort that may turn the tide of the war and rewrite history itself: a serum that resurrects their dead soldiers, stronger than they were in life, and sends them back into the battlefield.
Now Sgt. Frank Rock and Easy Company have been dispatched into enemy territory to face off against the strangest, most horrific enemies they’ve ever encountered: Nazi zombies!
Sgt. Rock and Easy Company are behind enemy lines, armed to the teeth, and ready to go up against the strangest-and deadliest-enemies they’ve ever encountered: zombies, and a whole lot of ’em! Strap in, soldiers, it’s you against the world…of the dead!
Horror icon Bruce Campbell and comics legend Eduardo Risso bring you a terror-soaked Sgt. Rock tale like no other!
Collects DC Horror Presents: Sgt. Rock vs. The Army of the Dead #1-6.

It’s no secret I’m a sucker for a great crime/noir/detective story. Steranko wrote and drew one of my favorites: Chandler: Red Tide. A remastered version has been rumored for years. Perhaps one day we’ll get it. Until then I have my original copy to keep me happy.

Chris Berning aka Alt Fiction has created a worthy alt poster for one of my favorite crime/horror mashups, From Dusk Till Dawn. You can see more of Berning’s art here.

“Kill a few people, they call you a murderer. Kill a million and you’re a conqueror.”
John Cordero created this cool alt Cliffhanger poster and even added the quote with his post of it. THAT is a true Stallone fan. You can see more of Cordero’s art here.
Richard Stark’s Parker The Complete Collection by Dawyn Cooke gets my highest rating. If you’re a fan of great crime fiction, then this is for you!
The groundbreaking and multiple award-winning graphic novels by Darwyn Cooke, collected in their entirety for the first time in one softcover volume.
Collecting the four Parker graphic novels (The Hunter, The Outfit, The Score, and Slayground) as well as two shorts (The Man with the Getaway Face and The Seventh). These stories encompass all Darwyn Cooke’s sequential stories of Parker.
American comic book fans probably know Goran Parlov for his work with the Punisher character. I love Parlov’s art and this is my favorite piece by him. You can see more of Goran Parlov’s art here.
THAT is one fine Wolverine drawin’ by Mike Deodato.
Deodato gets that Wolverine is short, thick, muscular, and hairy. Wolverine is the best at what he does and what he does isn’t very nice.
Bravo!
If you’d like to see more of Mike Deodato’s art, you can at his Instagram page.

It would be tough to find a more iconic Batman piece than the one above by Enrico Marini. You’ve got Batman on the Bat Signal surrounded by bats with Gotham City in the background.
Well played, Enrico Marini! (On another note, I am looking forward to Marini’s Noir Burlesque which comes out next month!)

Christopher Shy has created an interesting alt poster for First Blood. I like how Shy gives us insight into Rambo’s mind after learning his friend died from Agent Orange and then being harassed by Teasle. Everything around Rambo is either memories or disjointed/fractured. Well done, Christopher Shy!

Werewolf by Night was a surprise hit. Just as cool is JK Woodward’s inkwash art featuring the character… and if you look in the background you might find a guest appearance of another Marvel comics horror character! You can see more of Woodward’s art on his Twitter stream.
