Deland Comic and Collectibles Show

If you live within driving distance, you may want to come out to the Deland Comic and Collectibles Show on January 11, 2015 from 10am to 5pm.
My buddy, John Beatty will be there sketching, selling prints and signing autographs.
Other artists include: Tommy Castillo, Todd Allen Smith, Greg Frei, Austin Janowsky, Jeff Balke, C. Bradford Gorby, Jeff Fauvel, Graven and Monica Ravenwolf. [What? No Alex Saviuk?]
There will also be a ton of comic book dealers, costumers, and more. It should be a fun day. Hope to see you there!

A Visual Guide to All 37 Villains in the Batman TV Series

Scott Neumeyer and Mental_Floss present A Visual Guide to All 37 Villains in the Batman TV Series.
My favorite Batman TV series villains were…
- Catwoman [both Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt versions]
- The Joker [Caesar Romero]
- The Penguin [Burgess Meredith]
- Mr. Freeze [George Sanders, Eli Wallach, and Otto Preminger]
- The Riddler [Frank Gorshin and John Astin]
If The Green Hornet and Kato had been listed as villains, then Kato would have shot to #1. Bruce Lee rules.

22 Things You Might Not Know About The Breakfast Club
Kate Erbland gives us 22 Things You Might Not Know About The Breakfast Club.
My two favorites…
08. Emilio Estevez was originally slated to play Bender, but Hughes couldn’t find anyone else who was right for the Andrew role, so Estevez ultimately switched and the Bender gig went to Judd Nelson.
10. Other actresses that could have played Claire [Molly Ringwald’s part]? Robin Wright, Jodie Foster, and Laura Dern, who all auditioned for the part.

Napoleon Bonaparte’s Hat Sells for 2.4 Million Dollars
Photo Credit: Charles Platiau / Reuters
I don’t think I’ve ever bought a hat in my life. I don’t wear ’em.
While I would agree that the dome-topper pictured above is very stylish, even if I did buy hats, I couldn’t afford this one’s two point four million dollar price tag.
Yeah, you read that right.
Two. Point Four. MILLION. Dollars.
That’s a lot of dough, even if Napoleon Bonaparte did wear the hat into battle. The winner bidder paid more than five times the reserve!
If I wore a hat, I’d say, “Hats off to the winner.”
