When most folks hear the name Frank Frazetta they think of warriors, barbarians, beautiful women in danger, and monsters. But some fans first think of Frazetta’s work in romance comics. Sadly, I’ve almost no experience with Frazetta’s romance comic work. Seeing art like above makes me want to change that.
Let’s be honest.
When I took the Which X-Men Character Are You? quiz I was hoping for Wolverine. Wolverine is cool. He’s a loner. He is loyal to friends and can handle himself in any situation. Who wouldn’t want to be Wolverine?
I got Beast.
After reading the characteristic’s of the Beast, I’d like to think that they got it right. I’m not Wolverine.

Of all the quizzes I’ve taken lately, I think this one is the most off base. I don’t think I’m well traveled and definitely not cultured.

While I would have liked to have been Captain America, I figured I’d just have an outside chance at him.
I don’t drink enough or am rich enough to be Tony Stark, so Iron Man was out.
Perhaps the Beast or maybe Hawkeye? But noooo!
Instead I came out as Dr. Druid! Dr. Druid?
How about I be Jarvis and we call it a day?
I enjoy seeing where creative people work. It’s always fun, at least for me, to see how they set things up. What they have on their desks and walls… the books they keep close at hand.
If you like that sort of thing, then you’ll get a kick out of Mulholland Books‘ Tour of Greg Rucka’s Office.

I’ve been a J. O’Barr Crow fan since the character’s first appearance back in Caliber Presents.
Frank Bill burst on the crime fiction scene in a big way with his Crimes in Southern Indiana (book of short stories) and follow-up novel Donnybrook. (I’ve read and recommend both!)
I met Drew Moss about a year ago and got two sketches from him. Moss is a talented artist, and a funny guy.
I’m really looking forward to Crow: Pestilence and even more so after reading this CBR.com interview with Frank Bill.
The question for today… What Kind of Dog Are You?
Since I’m a dog guy, any breed would be fine. Dogs are the best.
I thought I might come out as a mastiff, a bull dog or maybe even a Bichon. Instead I was profiled as a mutt. And I’m fine with that because I’m a dog guy… and dogs are the best.
