I took Buzzfeed’s quiz, Which Decade Do You Actually Belong In? My guess before taking the quiz is that it would come out that I belonged in the 1960’s or 70’s. I was a bit surprised that “my decade” turned out to be the 1950’s.
Looking at the description though it does make sense. I do long for a simpler time when people were polite and followed the rules.

Which original Star Trek character are you?
The original Star Trek is one of my all-time favorite tv shows. Spock is my favorite character from the series with Kirk being a relatively close second. So I was curious to see my quiz result.
What if was most like Uhura, or an anonymous red shirt, or Harcourt Fenton Mudd or Khan? (Well, I guess I could live with being most like Khan.)
It turns out I am most like Spock. Which is as it should be. Any other character would have been most illogical.

What Fictional City Should You Actually Live In?
I thought it was a fair question and I was curious to see the result, So I clicked on the link and took the quiz.
Seems I’d be at home in King’s Landing from Game of Thrones. Well, I do long for a simpler place and time. I could do without the betrayal, intrigue, incest and murder though.

Isn’t this poster the coolest?

Although I knew a few of the Top Ten Everyday Objects You Didn’t Know Were Invented by Accident were invented by accident, most caught me off guard.
Play-doh? Really?
Chocolate chip cookies? Seriously?
There’s more at the link.

When I took Buzzfeed’s Which Pixar Movie are You? I got Toy Story. It went on to say…
You are a natural leader and pioneer while also being easily approachable and well-liked — a balance you maintain perfectly. You may also have a thing for the ’90s.
I’d like to think that all those characteristics are true, except for the thing for the 90’s. I’m a 70’s guy.

George Romero recently spoke with CBR.com about zombies and a whole lot more. It’s definitely worth a read [or a listen if you prefer the video].

I’m a huge fan of The Jack Benny Show. I’m an even bigger fan of The Twilight Zone.
Can you imagine my surprise to discover that Jack Benny and Rod Serling starred in a “lost” episode of The Twilight Zone?

Thomas Boatwright is back again this week [just as promised]!
Thomas recently ran a watercolor sketch sale and I jumped on board for a couple. Thomas came up with the idea of bookending the Rocky series. Here is his take on Rocky. The watercolor above is his riff on Rocky Balboa. Great idea by Thomas and I love the way the art turned out.
If you’d like to see more of Thomas Boatwright’s art check out his blog and his DA site. Send him some love.
If you get commissions, you should consider a piece from Thomas. He keeps you totally in the loop on his progress, finishes his commissions on or ahead of schedule, has very reasonable prices, is a fantastic artist and always gives you more than you’re expecting! – Craig

I won’t debate whether Justified is the best show on tv. There’s just too much competition [Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, The Black List, etc.] to quibble over first place. I will say if Justified isn’t the best show, it isn’t number 3.
I would argue that Raylan Givens (played by Timothy Olyphant] is the coolest character on tv.

Posted below is the opening to Crime Story, a short-lived crime drama from the 80’s. Man, I liked that show. It has so much potential.
Anyone else remember it?
Thanks to David Cranmer for reminding me.

Here are 50 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Pulp Fiction.
My bet is you know at least some of them.

I’m not sure if this is an official teaser or a fan-made poster for Fast & Furious 7.
It it’s not official, it should be.
If it is official, then the company that made it should take a bow.
If it is fan-made, some studio needs to find out who made it and hire him/her.

Buzzfeed posted 25 Facts You Didn’t Know About the Movie “Titanic.”
It was an interesting/fun read so I thought I’d pass it along.
