Midday Music Day 16. I Can Dream About You by Dan Hartman.
From the cult classic movie: Streets of Fire!

Recently Quint from AICN interviewed Robert Rodriguez about his Frazetta Gallery at SXSW.
So you’re probably wondering why the Drew Struzan First Blood painting leads our post, right? That’s because Robert Rodriguez owns the original and it is also on display at his Frazetta Gallery. You can also see Frank Miller originals there too.
The interview covers a lot of ground and is more than worth a read!

I’m diggin’ the poster and trailer for Wayward Pines. Hope it lives up to both.

Light the Match and let’s go!

SZoner, Gerardo Moreno is back with a new poster – Last Blood!
I’ve always enjoyed Gerardo’s Stallone art, and know that I can see more of his art here.

Midday Music Day 15. Nothing’s Going to Stop Us by Starship.
It seems we’ve blasted out of the 70’s and into the 80’s… have no fear our pilot will get us back soon.

I saw this photo of the Lost in Space play set by Mattel and just had to share it.
It’s funny how simple it looks today. “Remote Air-Control Power!” with cardboard backgrounds, yet you just know kids of the 1960’s loved it.

Today the Daredevil Motion Poster.

Midday Music Day 14. Tell It To My Heart by Taylor Dayne.
Some of our Midday Music songs are better without the video… proceed at your own risk.

Today we have Pokey LaFarge and his latest release Something in the Water.

Midday Music Day 13. Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.
Yeah, you’ve been Rick Rolled.

Joseph Stromberg presents The 8 Weirdest Things We’ve Left on the Moon.
I knew about six of the eight.

Midday Music Day 12. Jessie’s Girl by Rick Springfield.
I always thought the line…
And I’m lookin’ in the mirror all the time
Wondering what she don’t see in me,
…was pretty clever.

I think this re-imagined Daredevil movie poster is the coolest. It comes from a tweet by Peter S @Stultsified who said:
What If… instead of the new Netflix series, Daredevil was a 1940s film with Sydney Greenstreet as the Kingpin.

Midday Music Day 11. Angel is a Centerfold by J. Geils Band.
This song was never really a favorite. Then last year we had to put down our dog, Bruiser, who was nearly 17 years old. It was a tough time for me. I got in the car to go to work the morning after and the first words on the radio were: “The memory of my angel could never cause me pain.” For whatever reason that seemed like the words I needed to hear. Anyway… on to the song.
