Looper

Although I wasn’t impressed with the Looper poster, I do like the look of it’s trailer. I’m not ready to run out and buy tickets just yet, but I will keep Looper on my radar.

If you’re a fan of horror movies, then you might want to find out how many of the 100 Best Horror Films of All Time you’ve seen. I’ve seen 65, but my guess is that many of you will top that.
Thomas Boatwright Sends in a Maniac

Thomas Boatwright is back and with a vengeance. He knows you have to send a maniac to catch a maniac.

The Alice Band Doesn’t Fear the Reaper

Although I was never a Blue Oyster Cult fan, I always liked the song that they’re best known for: Don’t Fear the Reaper. I think I may like The Alice Band’s version even better.
A tip o’ the scythe to Bits and Pieces.

Marv & Gail: Sin CIty 2gether Again

According to this report at Spinoff Online, both Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson are set to return to Sin Ciity, when the sequel begins filming this summer. This is the best news I’ve heard all week.
Negative Girl Turns Positive

1. Stare at the red dot on the girls nose for 30 seconds.
2. Turn your eyes to a plain surface (a sheet of white paper works great).
3. Blink repeatedly and quickly.
4. What do you see?
A big positive thank you for the negative illusion to Bits and Pieces.
Rooftop Tower Climb

I’ll admit that my palms got moist watching this video of a Russian who got on a sky-scrapper’s roof and decided to climb the snow-covered steps to a tower… and then up the tower.
Watch it on full screen and feel your stomach tighten and your body shift to find balance.
Lance Sawyer Goes to Cop Land

Lance Sawyer is back, this time with his take on Sly as Freddy from Cop Land. I saw Lance was taking on some sketch and sketch card commissions, so I jumped on board.
If you’d like your own commission or to see more of Lance’s art, you can right here.
Walking Dead 100: Roll Call of the Dead

That’s just half of the wrap-around cover by Charlie Adlard for the 100th issue of The Walking Dead. You can see a 100th-issue-worthy-sized poster of the cover here thanks to CBR.com.
It’s hard to believe that The Walking Dead is almost to the 100th issue. I can remember my excitement after reading the first issue and making this post recommending it way back in November of 2004. The Walking Dead quickly became my favorite regularly published comic and I posted about it a lot over the years.
Now with the ever-increasing popularity of the tv series and the publicity from the 100th issue milestone, it looks like we’re in for several more years of Walking Dead greatness. My only fear is that there won’t be enough room on the cover of issue 200 for a roll call of the dead.
Rowan Stock Moore’s Snow White

I am really impressed with Rowan Stocks Moore’s minimalist movie poster for Disney’s Snow White.
New Total Recall Photo

I sure hope that the Total Recall update has plenty of action.
