Adrian Brody is Harry Houdini

The February 21, 2014 issue of Entertainment Weekly presented a First Look at Adrian Brody as Houdini.  Brody will play Houdini in a four hour mini-series that will premiere in May on the History Channel.

I’m looking forward to this.  I like Houdini (who doesn’t) and Brody is an interesting actor.  Brody is also a Houdini fan (who isn’t) and said Houdini is…

“…probably the original superhero.  Nobody (else) dared to do the things he dreamed up.”

Which Big BangTheory Character Are You?

I’m certainly not bragging about being most like Howard Wolowitz.

He’s the character I got when I took Zimbio’s quiz, Which Big  Bang Theory Character Are You?

I was surprised that I came out as Wolowitz.  Maybe I shouldn’t be though.

I am fairly confident… probably a bit quirky too.  I definitely use humor and I do love my mama. [“Always be kind to your mother.”]

Maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised at all.

Which Original “Star Trek” Character are You?

Which original Star Trek character are you?

The original Star Trek is one of my all-time favorite tv shows.  Spock is my favorite character from the series with Kirk being a relatively close second.  So I was curious to see my quiz result.

What if was most like Uhura, or an anonymous red shirt, or Harcourt Fenton Mudd or Khan?  (Well, I guess I could live with being most like Khan.)

It turns out I am most like Spock.  Which is as it should be.  Any other character would have been  most illogical.

Superman Guest Stars on “I Love Lucy”

George Reeves (as Superman) and Lucille Ball (from I Love Lucy) were the stars of two of the most popular tv shows from the 1950’s.

As a small child I enjoyed watching both shows in rerun in the 1960’s.  My favorite episode of I Love Lucy, as you can imagine, was when George Reeves appeared as Superman.
