Marv from Frank Miller’s Sin City is one of my all-time favorite characters. I love seeing artists do their “take” on the big lug. Today we have Marv by Edoardo De Santis.

If you ever get a chance to meet Jim Steranko, don’t sleep on it. Steranko is a master storyteller. He is a legendary artist. This Nick Fury piece by Steranko was one that he brought to New York ComicCon 2023.

Ken Lashley is back with another Batman! You can see more of Lashley’s art here.

I love Eric Canete’s Warpath. Of course I’m a fan of everything Eric Canete creates.

If you’re a Walt Simonson, Batman or fan of great art, then you might want to click over to The Bristol Board. They’ve got a Walt Simonson Batman gallery that is worth a look.

John Benteen’s Fargo: Hell on Wheels graphic novel – adapted by Howard Chaykin just launched today on Zoop. I immediately jumped on board. Here’s the lowdown…
Legendary comic book creator Howard Chaykin launches his first ever crowdfunding campaign!
A 96+ page prestige format, action packed, hardcover graphic novel starring soldier of fortune Neal Fargo, based on the legendary ‘Fargo‘ paperback series by John Benteen! Imagine if Conan was an American in the early 20th century. He still wouldn’t be as hard as Neal Fargo. Adapted, written and illustrated by the inimitable HOWARD CHAYKIN!
Supporters of the campaign are in for massive treats, as there are art contributions to the book by a murderer’s row of artists, including Gary Frank, Butch Guice, Eduardo Risso, Denys Cowan, Mahmud Asrar, Ron Garney and lots more, with a variant cover provided by Dave Johnson!
Here are two sample pages from Howard Chaykin.
Art by Dave Johnson and Walt Simonson!
Pinups by Denys Cowan and Giancarlo Bernal!
Pinups by Dan Panosian and Cully Hamner!
If this hits the right notes, then get on board before the train pulls out. John Benteen’s Fargo: Hell on Wheels graphic novel – adapted by Howard Chaykin.

Neal Adams is a legend among comic book pros and fans alike. When I post Adams’ art here, it’s always popular. The Bristol Board posted a gallery containing several original pages of Neal Adams’ art. The one above is just a sample. If you click over you’ll see many more at a bigger size.
Definitely worth a look!

This is just one of several illustrations in The Bristol Board’s gallery of Stag Magazine Art by Mort Künstler. It’s worth a look. The art is in a bigger format and you’ll get a taste of the type of art featured in men’s magazines that no longer exist.
If you’d like to see more art by Mort Künstler you know what to do.

Wow! Chris Hack draws First Blood and gets it right!

Mad Max: Fury Road was a hit with critics and the viewing public, but there were some who felt bad that Mel Gibson didn’t return. While nothing can change that, Ted Hammond came up with an alt poster for Fury Road which puts Mel font and center. You can see more of Hammond’s art here. You can even buy prints of his Mad Max: Fury Road!

I love Paul Mann‘s alt poster for Alfred Hitchcock’s classic North By Northwest. (Note that Mann stuck Hitch on Mount Rushmore!)

Sly Stallone as Jack Carter by Nate Niles. He’s a young artist to watch for. Nate was “introduced” to me by Jarrod Alberich, The Yard Sale Artist. The two of them created Hamilton Vs. Burr: A Werewolf Tale!
