While taking a stroll around the CNN tower is no where near as crazy as free-climbing up a tower or speed climbing up a mountain, it’s still pretty crazy.

Skulls are in. Skull tats. Skull bandanas. Skull motorcycle paintings. Skull t-shirts. So why not design a skull using your face as the model? It probably won’t be as creepy as mine, but then again… who knows?

That’s JK Woodward’s amazing take on Sly as Jack Carter. My buddy, Little John312 told me that JK was taking on some commissions. I’d never met or seen JK’s art, but once I did, I hopped on board. Now his site is a regular stop on my internet runs and I hope to get another Stallone commission in the future.

That’s Corey Starliper. Have you ever heard of him? I hadn’t either until recently. Corey claims to have broken a code that has stumped experts for over forty years. Not only that, in breaking the code, Correy believes he has solved the mystery behind the identity of the Zodiac Killer.
If true, this is a major, major breakthrough. Of course, if it was true, don’t you think you’d have heard of Corey Starliper somewhere other than here?

We probably all know a “Fake Shemp” when we see one, but did you know that there’s an actual term “fake Shemp” and that it was created by Sam Raimi during the filming of The Evil Dead?
Oh, the things, the important things that you can learn by swinging by here.

Check out this short video called Plot Device. My guess is that several of the folks involved in this will be bringing us major releases in the future.

Have you seen the trailer for “Drive”? It is the best looking trailer I’ve seen in a long time and if the movie turns out to be as good as the teaser indicates, then we are in for a crime classic. The source material is more than solid since it’s based on the crime novel Drive by James Sallis [that I reviewed here].
Ok. Enough of my praise. Check out the redband trailer and see for yourself.

At ComicCon this past weekend, Robert Rodriguez announced that “Frank [Miller] has written a script for Sin City 2…It could shoot as early as later this year.“
The Sin City sequel will follow the same format as the original movie with three interconnected tales. “A Dame to Kill For” will be the main title and is based on the Frank Miller story of the same name. The Long Bad Night is the second yarn with no mention of the third’s title at this point.

I learned about The Package by Elliot Blake and Alexis Ziritt, through Kickstarter. I liked what I read and decided to become a backer. Here’s what got me on board:

Today we have Karl Alstaetter’s take on Sly as Jack Carter. It’s obvious that Karl gets Carter.
Karl has worked for Marvel, DC and Image Comics. For the last several years he has been working in the toy industry and with his own publishing company, Hyperwerks. You can see more of Karl’s art at his blog and his DA site.

Here’s the teaser trailer for Frank Miller’s Holy Terror graphic novel. Check it out and then we’ll talk.
So, what’d ya think? Yeah. Me, too. It’s no secret that I’m a huge Frank Miller fan. I’ve bought everything that he’s done since his DareDevil days and loved almost all of it. The jury is out on Holy Terror. The art isn’t knocking my socks off. I’m also still a little disappointed that Frank decided to change it from a Batman story to a tale about a new character called The Fixer.
Still, my guess is I’ll get a copy/ I am a huge Frank Miller fan, you know.

This trailer for the new season of The Walking Dead [premieres October 16th] is gold. I’d say more but I want to watch the trailer yet again.

That’s a detail from production art for Riddick aka Riddick 3. Vin Diesel received the art as a birthday gift from David Twohy and shared it with fans via his Facebook page.

No matter how many times you think you’ve killed a vampire, odds are he’ll be back when you least expect it. Such is the case with Barnabas Collins [as well as the rest of the cast of Dark Shadows]. Then again, maybe the return of Barnabas should be expected now that filming is underway for a new Dark Shadows movie starring Johnny Depp and directed by Tim Burton.
The new Dark Shadows comic will be written by Stuart Manning with art by Aaron Campbell. Francesco Fraccavilla and Aaron Campbell will provide the cover art.
